Nexus 7 Gets Android 4.2.2 Update

Android 4.2.2 Jellybean update reaches Nexus 7 users today with minor changes from 4.2.1.

The settings pane which was introduced in the last version was enhanced, which many found was originally lacking functionality. Instead of working as widgets, the buttons oin the control pane acted as shortcuts which took you directly to the settings page. But with the update you can now use these buttons like you would widgets, turning on WiFi or Bluetooth with pout having to go to their settings page via a simple long press.
Also new is that when downloading from Google Play, estimated time remaining is now displayed. The only way we used to see how download was progressing was with the progress bar.

Minor changes and minor tweaks to make Android a little better. Not sure if they fixed the slow charging issue yet but I’m keeping my fingers crossed on that one..
